The Fennimore Community Scholarship Foundation presents the Kalile-Baumgartner Educator Award to graduated students that meet the following:
- The applicant must be a Fennimore High School graduate.
- The applicant must be enrolled in a college or university peer accredited program for obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education.
- The applicant must be registered and participating in the Practicum/Practice Teaching/Internship part of his or her curriculum, which includes assignment to a school district or charter school, and being under supervision of the degree granting institution.
- Any recipient of the Kalile-Baumgartner Education Scholarship (awarded by the University of Wisconsin-Platteville Foundation) shall be deemed ineligible to receive this award during the same academic term.
- Applicants must complete an essay, which should describe: achievement (academically and otherwise); post-graduation goals and plans; and personal goals demonstrating merit deserving award of the Scholarship.
APPLICATION DEADLINE:
For Spring Term Awards: Due by February 1st.
For Fall Term Awards: Due by October 1st.

- Copy of your most recent Unofficial Transcript.
- Proof of your current semester enrollment in Practicum/Practice Teaching/Internship.
- Proof of pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education.
- Essay addressing the following: achievement (academically and otherwise); post- graduation goals and plans; and personal goals demonstrating merit deserving award of the Scholarship.
